…help make £1million a year in ad revenue for IPC Media
When I joined IPC Media my first job was to redesign NME.com but soon moved to Nuts to join a new team to take the website from a glorified ad for the magazine to an entity in its own right. During my time within the team of Editor, Producer, Picture Editor and myself we took the site from 20 million age impressions a month to 150 million.
We UX’d and re-designed the site twice in the 5 years at the company, adding lots of new functionality, new sections for sport and gaming and, most importantly, developed new ad formats for advertorials and takeovers that was annually bringing in around £1million in revenue.
