…de-stressed Brides and helped them find a wedding venue
Over the course of 10-15 interviews we discovered that the experience for brides when finding a wedding venue was slow, laborious and frustrating. Often they would arrive at Immediate Media with binders full of printouts of images, correspondence and notes. They told us that they used Google and visited venue websites, often poorly created and lacking in the most basic of information.
Working with David Regan, who was the UX lead, we developed a mobile first site that allowed bride and grooms to easily search for venues on various parameters easily and quickly. They could then save them to a shortlist and send that to a partner or family member.
The site was wireframed, prototyped and tested with brides using the Immediate Media testing lab and then created the UI design within an Agile team. After some post launch testing we prototyped the iPad/Desktop version. We quickly moved on to tools that allowed the venues to edit their details directly within their profile page by simply clicking on any text on the page and editing it.
